Testudo combines the know-how and expertise acquired since 1972 with a bold rethinking of how the roofing industry operates.

New technologies and a desire to do things differently have made Testudo the first roofing solution offered as a service.

TESTUDO « WHAT ? »

Tes-tu-do (tĕ-sto o′dō)

Meaning « Turtle » in Latin, the term was used by the Roman army to define a formation with huge protection advantage. In the testudo formation, the men would align their shields to form a square packed formation covered with shields on the front and top. Without that well-coordinated teamwork, the formation could not be effective.
